IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE FILLED THE QUESTIONNAIRE REQUESTING THE GROUP CHARTER OFFERED BY PERFORM INTERNATIONAL PLEASE READ
THANK YOU to those of you who have shown interest in the Group Flight offered by Perform
International. We are still waiting to confirm as we are still needing to get a critical number of interests.
HOWEVER, we have one of our members, Colwyn Dunlap, who is a licensed travel agent. Colwyn is investigating rates that are less expensive than the Perform International quote. I will be forwarding the names and contact info of
the members who have signed our initial questionnair. Colwyn will then be in contact to ask some specific questions and hopefully save you some significant money.
Colwyn will be in the Narthex tomorrow evening before rehearsal, during the break, and after rehearsal with his Travel Agent business cards, if you would like his contact
info.

TRAVEL TIPS FOR FRANCE 2026
Every week, the Masterworks Newsletter will contain a brief “Tip” about Paris, the French language, words to practice, getting around, money, paying for food, tipping, etc. Many of these ideas are distilled from a series of
YouTube videos by Les Frenchies, a French/American couple. For more detailed information, these videos cover many topics of interest to American travelers in France, especially Paris. They are fun to watch and very informative.
1. Bonjour (bohn-zhoor) This word is critical to your experience in Paris. It means so much more than “Hello.’ It represents
respect, acknowledgement of humanity, and is basic to politeness in french society. Not to use it marks you as rude and lacking social skills.
Say Bonjour first when entering a restaurant, to the waiter, to a clerk, when entering a store even just to browse, to the desk clerk at the hotel, to basically anyone you encounter in Paris. Skipping this word can come across as abrupt or even
rude.
For example, do not walk into a cafe looking for a toilet and say “Where is the toilet? This will get you a dirty look, and you may be told there is none. But enter and say Bonjour, buy a coffee, and then ask for the toilet, and you will probably be told where to find it. Or, when entering a shop, do not start with “Do you speak English?’ That will be seen as rude. Start
with Bonjour.
I am so thrilled to know there are new members who are signing up to join our ranks. I want to ensure that you all share our wonderful upcoming plans with friends, family, and colleagues. We are still looking to gain some new invites to join us for the exciting Spring Semester for the American Premiere of this new major work. There is still open spots to JOIN THE UPCOMING EXPERIENCE OF LIFETIME PREMIERING A NEW MAJOR WORK IN AN INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE!! Let the music making
begin!!
See you on Thursday! Blessings and Gratefulness,
Morris

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT PARIS FESTIVAL
I am in contact with Perform International to ask about the possibility of a group flight. As of yet we do not
have a quote.
We have been receiving some messages that some of you are experiencing a notice that the trip is full when you are attempting to register.
That issue has been resolved. The explanation is that there was an initial total reported to Perform
International based upon the answers to our Questionnaires.
The good news is that we have reached our initial projection of participants. Those notices were a temporary report, resulting in some being placed on a waiting list.
Our official Representative at
Perform International has now gone into the system and has increased our inventory.
You should have no further issues with registration for the Festival and Tour.
If you do, please contact me at 512-699-7014 by text, and we will assist.
PLEASE REVIEW THIS INFO ABOUT THE GROUP FLIGHT OPTIONS
ALERT!! THE INFORMATION BELOW IS FROM PERFORM INTERNATIONAL...PLEASE READ THE SECTION ABOVE TO UNDERSTAND WE ARE NOW COMPARING PRICES FOR THOSE WHO HAVE SIGNED UP
AS INTERESTED IN THE PERFORM INTERNATIONAL ORIGINAL GROUP OFFERING BELOW.
We have received information from Perform International about the option of a Charter Group flight for the Paris Choir tour.
The flights listed are from Austin to Charles De Gaulle, Paris and return.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a OPTION. This is not a REQUIREMENT if
you are planning your own flight arrangements. I will be honest that this is slightly more expensive than what you might find on your own, however, some people would prefer to travel with a group.

I have created a sign-up form that will show your INTEREST ONLY in using the charter. If you fill out the INTEREST FORM, your name will be forwarded to our Perform International representative, and she will contact you to finalize your plans and add the charge to your bill.
Once again... ONLY fill out this form if you are truly interested in the Charter Flight option.
If you have already filled out this form, there is no need to fill again.
We are in need of at least three more sign-ups for Perform International to make arrangements as a group flight.
WE NOW HAVE THE FULL TEXTS OF THE NEW HAGENBERG MAJOR WORK
I want you all to be able to see and read the chosen texts for the major work of next Spring. The music will be available for download this week. For now enjoy these amazing texts...
