Masterworks Singers Newsletter Fall 2025 No. 17

Dear People,

Everyone of you deserves the biggest Bravo I am capable of shouting!!

First, I must thank each of you for doing such a great job of promoting the concert! This was a thrill to see SRO! I am not sure many of you know, but we ran out of printed programs!

Next, I must give a big shout out to Susan Neff our rehearsal and performance accompanist. I know that you all thank her individually for her fine work, but I need you all to know that my longtime friend is so very much appreciated for her great contributions.

I also want to thank Amber for all the work she put in that was extra to her regular duties. She created a very helpful grid that eliminated a lot of confusion once we got into mixed formation.

My thanks can't stop without a huge shout out to Mark for his expert work in setting our life stream and doing such a great job on our recording. Please when you get a chance pass along the personal thanks for that important work.

Continuing the praise, I want to thank Vincent for his substitute rehearsal, as well as his fine organ accompaniment on the Rutter. Another special thanks to my good friend and colleague Dr. Radmer for contracting our amazing chamber orchestra. To Earl and Peter for all the work put in with our learning tracks... Many Thanks!! To soloists Katie and John...thank you for the extra work and for lovely performance!

I could go on and on and on,... I know that if I did I would leave out some very important people.

It is time for me to just simply say my heartfelt thanks to ALL of YOU!! As the song says...WE ARE STRONG! I am just so happy that everyone in this Community of Unity, has bought into the idea and philosophy of El Sistema... The System. Each of you has gifts that are given to you by our Great Creator,.. and you all are giving them back with such grace, joy, and gratefulness.

My love to each of you!!

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT PARIS FESTIVAL

I am in contact with Perform International to ask about the possibility of a group flight. As of yet we do not have a quote.

We have been receiving some messages that some of you are experiencing a notice that the trip is full when you are attempting to register.

That issue has been resolved. The explanation is that there was an initial total reported to Perform International based upon the answers to our Questionnaires.

The good news is that we have reached our initial projection of participants. Those notices were a temporary report, resulting in some being placed on a waiting list.

Our official Representative at Perform International has now gone into the system and has increased our inventory.

You should have no further issues with registration for the Festival and Tour.

If you do, please contact me at 512-699-7014 by text, and we will assist.

I want you all to be able to see and read the chosen texts for the major work of next Spring. Elaine has not chosen a title yet. The score should be finished by the end of November and to us for first inspection by December. For now enjoy these amazing texts...
