Masterworks Singers Newsletter Fall 2024 No. 12
Dear Wonderful People,
I am always proud of you, but this evening as I write this, I have a new definition of pride. My pride is grounded in pure admiration for each and every one of you... you lift me up... and you lift up Polly as well. This is truly a family thing for us. As we were driving back from Fredericksburg, both of us were in
that zone of appreciation where words were not really adequate to express how much gratitude we felt being a part of this wonderful community.
Now let's continue to just get a little better each rehearsal between now and our full Fall concert on November 17!
Thursday night will be regular rehearsal at St. Theresa's. We will jump back in to Movement 2 and Movement 4 of the Magnificat. We will also continue to work on polishing and even a
bit of memorization on the works we sang so beautifully this past Sunday.
I am always so pleased to have you experience the beauty of what you bring to your art in such a beautiful place as Historic St. Mary's.
Now as we work toward the larger performance with our full Chamber Orchestra, let's all commit to bringing at least one, if not two or three new people to our concert to experience your amazing hard work!
Keep up the practice
on your own with our wonderful practice aides. I cannot thank Peter and Earl enough for their incredible contributions to the learning tracks!!
Here again is an important announcement about next week. Don't forget!!
